Which Country Has the most Golf courses?

Ok, which country has the most golf courses?  Well, number one is the US.  No surprise there.  According to Wikipedia, half of the golf courses in the world are in the United States. 

There were some surprises in this survey though.  One thing is the number of golf courses in Canada.

Also, the number of courses in Sweden.  I would not have thought that.

Lastly, wonder how long it will be before china passes France?

But,  what can we take away from this? I think there are two things that we can take away from this as golf nuts.

 First, that there are more golf nuts in the US than anywhere else in the world.

Second, that there are golf nuts all over the world.
